Cliff Edwards was cast in Gone With The Wind to be the voice of the off camera "Reminiscing Soldier." In the hospital scene, Cliff can be heard as the voice of the dying confederate soldier, talking about his family back home. His signatuure is an autograph cut in very good condition from a 1940s vintage autograph album.

Born in Hannibal, Missouri, on June 14, 1895, Cliff ran away from home at 14. He learned the ukulele and was a performer, billing himself as "Ukulele Ike." His unique voice won him the role as the voice of Jiminy Cricket in "Pinocchio" and resulted in one of the most famous of Disney songs, the Oscar-winning "When You Wish Upon A Star."
In 1939, Cliff He died at age 76, in Hollywood on July 17, 1971.
