Ricarde of Hollywood Vintage
1930's and 1940's Movie Jewelry

In the 1930's and 1940's Hollywood turned out spectacular movies and in those movies were fabulous costumes and jewelry. Hollywood Jewelry Products, Inc. was launched in 1939 by Richard C. Baxt. The company became known as 'Ricarde of Hollywood' and specialized in producing beautiful costume jewelry reproductions that were inspired by the famous 1939 movies Juarez with Bette Davis and THE most famous movie of the day, "Gone With The Wind." The highly collectible Ricarde GWTW inspired jewelry can be found in the jewelry section under 'vintage jewelry' but here we have the other movie inspired jewelry Ricarde produced Juarez.
There were five Gone With the Wind sets and five Juarez sets made by Ricarde from 1939 to 1940 and sold at the Davison-Paxon Department stores. The Ricarde jewelry is of 'costume' quality and very rare since they are over 70 years old. We strive to only offer pieces in the best possible condition and all are original and stamped 'Ricarde of Hollywood' on the back.
